TItan Bravo OTF Knife

OVERVIEW

No fluff. No fuss. Just the essentials.
The Titan Bravo double action OTF (out the front) knife is perfect for those who want to carry a full-size knife without any extra bulk. The Titan is nearly a half an inch smaller than our RCT-1 Raven OTF Knife, but make no mistake the Titan is a true workhorse and a favorite of many.

Perfect in every way.
Like all RavenCrest Tactical knives, the Titan Bravo is built for hard use. Each Titan comes standard with a 3.5-inch 440c blade that is meticulously hand sharpened to a razor’s edge ready to cut right out of the box. The smooth ergonomic handles on the Titan are made of high-quality Zinc Alloy that is individually hand coated with Cerakote which gives them maximum hardness and corrosion resistance. The button placement along the spine of the handle allows for lighting fast ambidextrous openings right from the operators pocket. The Titan Bravo also allows for right and left-hand users to pocket carry with its stainless steel reversible pocket clip. If that wasn’t enough the Titan Bravo OTF knife also comes equipped with a “battle tested” glass breaker pommel.

Details that matter.
The inner workings of the Titan Bravo don’t disappoint. “Under the hood” you will find all stainless steel precision parts and our proprietary coated high-performance spring. The Titan comes with our famous lifetime warranty giving you confidence and peace of mind.

All RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use.
RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.

What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is not a paint. Cerakote is a Polymer-Ceramic coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness.

Wow!! Colorado finally updated our archaic knife laws and otf’s are good to go. I purchased the titan on sale after a friend teased me day after day with his mini rct-1. I shouldn’t have waited, it quickly has become my part of my edc. I ordered the model below the cerakote and got upgraded for free due to backorders. My knife was in my hands days after my order with a bag of skittles and handwritten thank you. I have already bought another blade for this model and hope to have a mini in my pocket soon. Thanks Raven tactical ya’ll made this the best knife and great company to have my business.

This was my first OTF knife because it was such a fair price:

Upon researching I have read so many forums and watched many videos stating these are “Chinese Ripoffs”

I don’t believe so. Even if they are, they work unbelievably well, and you’re paying for a lifetime no questions asked warranty. As well as phenomenal customer service that is the best I have ever dealt with.

Now, I know the majority of knife manufacturers have a lifetime warranty, but you’re paying way more. Unless you need a special purpose knife with a special purpose steel and handle, there is nothing wrong with buying a cheaper knife. 440C isn’t CPM S30V but it gets shaving sharp and is easy to maintain. I have zero complaints about this company because I actually use my knives unlike the “collectors” that have them in a box and complain about steels and handle materials.

Take it from someone who puts a knife through its paces, these knives are more than capable of taking a beating and getting a job done, plus they look cool. Zero complaints. I even bought one for my dad.

  3. Steve

Chinese made garbage for $160 what a joke

After months of research, the wife and I went to the actual store, after toying with a few products I bought a scratch and dent Titan. We dealt with Chris, who provides great customer service and does great knife work. I also won a Warlord on this trip, sweet fixed blade.

Fast forward a month, I’m now a member of the RavenPac and have added a survival knife to the collection . Myself and Austin (the GM) convinced my wife to go down and purchase a custom RCT-1 Raven Stormtrooper Edition. She watched it get assembled by Chris and fine tuned before she walked out the door. I also had my Titan worked on.

I know people have complaints about Chinese components but they assemble the OTF’s in AZ and the lifetime warranty covers any damage you do to all their knives. Recently they have begun to Cerakote the knives locally, which adds a badass look to them. They employ Americans, they are headquartered in AZ and provide the best customer service I’ve seen from a knife company.

I am by no means a knife expert, just a Jarhead who beats his knives up and expects them to keep going.

  5. Jax

Great OTF. Bought this on a whim while I was deployed, always wanted an OTF. I had low expectations based on the price, but this has turned out to be a great knife. Solid heavy piece, sharp blade and a very stiff double action. Honestly I could do without the molle pouch that comes with it, would have preferred to have had the $ that pouch cost deducted from the overall price of the knife. All in all this is a great knife that I confidently use on a regular basis.

  6. meanstreak1170 (verified owner)

The cool factor is for sure there. I have worked it a little bit with no faults. The blade deploys and retracts with authorityand is very sharp. I will definitely buy from Ravencrest again. Keep up the good work!

I have owned my Titan for a little over 2 yrs now. I was looking at RCTs new gear and figured I’d leave my thoughts.

The knife is great, for the price excellent and the company superb. Definitely a tank, mine shows few signs of wear, except for some surface wear. It has been a great general purpose tool and won’t leave you hanging. In who knows how many hundreds of cycles my blade went thru, it only failed to deploy a few times. Always easily corrected with a flick of the wrist anyway.

    TL;DR
Worth every penny and it’ll probably outlive you. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

I have watched and wanted a raven crest otf for years. Finally broke down and bought one a couple months ago. So my knife has been in the hands of many friends and family, blade has been in and out so many times now and not one issue ever, quality is all I can say! I’m from northern Arkansas and have owned hundreds of different brands and styles of knives, I can say now after 41 years on earth I finally found a brand to stick with! The company is amazing, my knife did not have the sheath, emailed them and a couple days later I got it in the mail. Now after having it a couple of months and the blade shooting in and out thousands of times the play feels the same, didn’t loosen up like just about every other brand I’ve played with does. My knife is amazing and the first of many more I’m buying from this company. Great job you guys your knives rock! I’m now a forever customer!

  12. Jarod Derrick

I received this as a Christmas gift and could not be happier. It’s kept an edge and has deployed very well each time. I also like the instructional videos for maintenance and cleaning. Most manufacturers would void your warranty if you did this but not RCT. This has quickly become part of my EDC.

  13. Duane (verified owner)

Awesome knife! So glad I bought it!
Really impressed with Ravencrest, will buy from them again for sure.

  14. Caleb Downing (verified owner)

I got this knife as a gift and absolutely love it. When my friends told me they got it for me, I didn’t know what to expect really. I only ever thought of OTF knives as a gimmick or expensive toy. I was mistaken… I was initially struck by the quality feel it has. This is not some lightweight second hand knockoff. This thing feels and screams quality. There are more times that not that I appreciate the ability to deploy the blade, open a box or cut a cable, retract the blade and put the knife away, all with one hand. Way more useful than I ever imagined. I was so impressed with it that I have ordered two more as gifts for my brother and another friend. I honestly carry this guy around every day and use it all the time. If you want to step up you knife game and still want quality, look no further.

  15. Timothy Kearns (verified owner)

I can’t recall how I came upon RavenCrest’s website but I am so happy that I did! This knife is a beast! A well-honed, brilliant design of mechanical awesomeness. I was blown away when I opened the box and that was over a month ago! I opted for the “don’t tread on me” engraving and it is a beauty. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a well made nylon pouch is included. CAUTION: this is one badass knife that won’t disappoint unless you find yourself at the other end of it! I was compelled to purchase 2 additional knives which I can’t wait to receive. Thank you RavenCrest tactical. Truly a work of art that functions superbly.

  16. N. Tucker (verified owner)

Ok first things first. This is not a Chinese piece of junk. This is a good well made and well balanced knife. And for the price you can’t beat it. The reason I know it is well made is because within a day of having it I played with it so much I locked it up. This happened not due to any problems with design, function, or materials. It just needed to be lubed. So I took it apart, easy to do, lightly lubed all the interior parts and the thumb switch. Put it back together and, SHNICK!! We were back in business. Now is this as good as my Infidel? Not quite. But it has become my new EDC knife. It functions great, with proper oiling, and feels great in the hand. I am currently hiding money from my wife to get an Enigma. Plus with the warranty that comes with this knife i know I can use it with confidence. Because let’s be real. No one want to pay $120+ for a cool knife that you are afraid to use. You might as well just get one of those cheap $20 Chinese knock offs that Mr. Butthurt lower in the comments was talking about. As long as the quality and customer service stays like this from Ravencrest then they will have a customer for life. Thanks guys. I look forward to my next one. Just don’t tell my wife.

  17. Joeseph Burke (verified owner)

Was looking for a midrange knife between my Lightning and Microtech otfs. Honestly much closer to the Lightning than anything else. Has about as much play in the lock up, the edges were beveled different on each side of both edges and the grinds were further off center from the spine than the Lightning. It does function well, after some buffing of the internals with 1000-2500 grit sandpaper and some lube. I’d say it LOOKED good, but I took off half the black on the blade trying to get an even edge, seeing as the end of the “spine” ended 1/8th of an inch from the point.

Looks like I’ve got an expensive egress tool for my car, and the Lightning stays in my pocket for my edc. At least it was 15% off.

  18. John Bryan (verified owner)

Bought a titan bravo. Pretty solid knife. Initially there seemed to be a bit of play in the blade that I wasn’t to big a fan of, and there was a ringing sound when I would deploy/retract the knife. Took it a part a few times and after a quick cleaning and oiling of the spring the ring went away. Wasn’t as sharp as I would have liked out of the box, but wasn’t necessarily an issue. It also helps that I’m able to work on this knofe without voiding any warranty. I’m happy with my purchase and I would recommend it to someone who’s looking for an otf but not wanting to pay a few hundred bucks.

  19. Scott (verified owner)

    Cons:
Titan Bravo shipped later than promised.
    The action was very stiff.
    Some blade play
    Heavy beast
    Loud deployment
    Big knife

    Pros:
    Heavy use is no problem
The action eased up with use
    Solid knife
    Unconditional guarantee
    Hard-hitting deployment
    Not expensive
    Big knife

I would buy a knife from RavenCrest again.

  20. Erik W. (verified owner)

Great knife for the price! The construction is clearly designed for heavy-duty use. The knife feels robust in the hand and the blade response is lightning fast!

  21. Ole Nashty (verified owner)

Exactly what it claims to be. Sharp out of the box and obviously well crafted. The switch is stiffer than I expected but wore in a bit after lots of use. I like that it’s not a hair trigger just sitting in my pocket! The internal safety is pretty nice too. Obviously this is a full sized knife, and it has some heft to it. I know some folks bitch about anything that weighs more than a feather or too. It’s a pleasing weight in hand with a nice balance. I personally made an impulse buy and didn’t expect much… This is a phenomenal knife.

  22. Darrell Allen (verified owner)

Knife came today. Fancy looking box but knife not secured in the box so it bounces around in box, inside the box was beat up. Knife is on the heavy side, a little stiff operation but all in all acceptable. What gives this knife 3 Stars is the fingerprints on the blade. That was confusing, this knife is new and the last thing I figured I’d see was fingerprints. Kind of feels like a thrift store purchase. I’ve never received a new knife with fingerprints.

  23. Andrew E. (verified owner)

Great knife, excellent size and weight. Thumbs up guys, i got the chubby tanto blade.

  24. Vern Crow (verified owner)

I have purchased several Titan Bravo knives for gifts and I must say that without getting into a lot of specifics it is generally a good knife. However, I will say the blade is not as smoothly finished or as sharp as you would expect for a new knife. And the last few knives I received were loose in the box instead of being in a die cut foam base like the original ones I purchased. They also did not have the warranty card enclosed like the first ones I purchased. Very disappointed in that, especially if they are to be gifts.

  25. joe (verified owner)

lve bought 3 Titan OTF knives from Ravencrest now, and ive NEVER been disappointed…….just got my first purchase [7 yrs. ago] back from ravecrest for re ceracoating and maint……..WOW,the knife looked like new, and never woked better…..lf your on the fence about this, Get OFF, and buy your new favorite knife !!!!!!

  26. Stephen (verified owner)

I wish they had 10 stars because I like this knife that much.
I brought two of these one for my brother for Christmas I had them both monogrammed they use a laser and cut right in the middle so you know it’s never going to fade or wear off.
I can’t praise these knives enough they’re absolutely beautiful.
    They’re heavy and well-made.
You can tell these are not cheap knockoffs from China I believe they made fully in USA.
    Very sharp knife.
I can say I’m proud to own this knife.
I’m quite sure this is going to be around for at least a hundred years or more it will probably be passed down from generation to generation and they’re all going to know it’s my knife at one time or another because it’s engraved with my name I should have put the date on the knife.
Because in two hundred years one of relatives who own this and see the date and my name

  27. Kelly (verified owner)

Love the knife. Can’t beat the price. Has not failed to deploy once

  28. Chris Walker (verified owner)

GREAT knife! Has just the right weight and like a little shotgun, has the sound to wake people up if they are looking for trouble.

  29. Jackson Burnside (verified owner)

The Titan Bravo OTF is incredible. Such a solid knife, the construction is impeccable. Arrived sooner than expected. I have two and plan on buying more.

  30. Rob (verified owner)

This is a really nice knife! I have opened and closed this thing a bunch of times since getting it and still opens and closes smoothly. I am really impressed with the craftsmanship and fully recommend! Above all, their customer service is great.

  31. Henry (verified owner)

I recently purchased the RevenCrest Tactical “Titan Bravo” OTF knife equipped with a Tanto Serrated blade and I’ve found perfection!. Words can’t express how good this knife feels in your hands, the deployment and retraction system feels of great quality. Pulling it out of the pocket, it opens and closed with ease at the push of my thumb. The knives also feature a pocket clip with a built in glass breaker, available when you need it. Every OTF Knife from RavenCrest has a Lifetime Warranty. If your RavenCrest knife fails you for any reason, simply send it back to them and they will first attempt to repair the knife. If the knife is beyond repair, they will replace it with a new one. I cannot express enough how happy I am with their product, I am referring everyone of my co-workers and family members. I bought two knifes for my self the Titan Bravo, RCT-1 Raven and gave a Titan Bravo to my son, he loves he’s.

  32. tprachyl (verified owner)

I bought the Cerakote Titan Bravo Tactical OTF Knife and have had it long enough to really test it. Compared to other simular OTF knives, RavenCrest Tactical is my top choice. This knife is tough and rugged and is the perfect pocket companion for whenever you need it. As fast as you can flip the switch, the blade is ready.
Others can rattle a little too much, for my liking and just didn’t seem like they would last as long….AND… RavenCrest Tactical comes with a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. You just can’t go wrong.

  33. Bobby Davis (verified owner)

I bought 3 Titan Bravo cerakote knives and all 3 are great. They are solid with no loose or rattling parts. The blades are sharp right out of the box. Every one of the blades opens every time and retracts when the button is pushed, flawless operation. Another fine addition to my collection.

  34. David Ledford

I bought my Titan Bravo in 2016. It was my first RavenCrest OTF knife. It’s now 2023 and it’s still going strong. I’ve added a few more RavenCrest OTF knives to my collection since then and seen many cheap imitations out there. You get quality with RavenCrest, backed by an outstanding lifetime warranty. I’m sure my collection will continue to grow. Buy one and you’ll have a knife for life.

  35. Ron V. (verified owner)

I purchased this knife as a replacement for a different knife which I gave my son, who is a Special Operator in the Marine Corps. The knife was received and was very impressive out of the box. I have worked it a bit on my ultra fine Spyderco stone to polish the blade and it is razor sharp! I was so impressed that I ordered another for my son and he is also very impressed with it. Glad I did my research on this! Benchmade knives are great knives, but their price point is way out of the ballpark.

  36. Troy

Just bought my third OTF knife, awesome knives and amazing customer service. Hassle free lifetime warranty is a plus. I’m sure I will be back in the future after I loose this one, too bad the warranty doesn’t cover lost or stolen. Lol

I would recommend ravencrest tactical to anyone looking for a quality knife with an even better warranty. The customer service excellence that you will receive is better than I could’ve ever imagined. I purchased quite a few of these knives as I’m trying to own every style they have. Why not with the reasonable prices of these amazing products. I am a big time knife collector & ever since my 1st purchase I’ve been hooked. They actually stand behind their products. The fact that you can personalize your knife to make it 1 of a kind is also a major plus. You might find haters trash talking their name but I can promise you if you purchased one you’d be more than satisfied. THANK YOU RAVENCREST TACTICAL! I freaking love this company! ❤️

  42. Jeffrey Limpert

On the recommendation of a friend I purchased three RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives this year on two orders, the custom RCT-1 Raven, the Titan Bravo, and Mini RCT-1 Raven. Two of the knives had problems deploying and retracting their blades. The company willingly and rather easily offered to take them back for repair. On their return they appear to be working well. They even swapped out one of the blades due to a problem that I had selecting the one I wanted in the Raven.

Of the three my favorite has become the Titan Bravo for its smooth operation and fit in my hand. The Raven also fits well, but for me the Titan Bravo is better. The Mini RCT-1 is used as a pocket knife and though not as good a fit due to its short length is adequate for those small tasks that come up throughout the day.

While overall I am satisfied and would not hesitate to recommend the company, I’d recommend trying to buy after a “hands-on” experience since the way the knife fits and feels is important to satisfaction. That said, I live in the Mid-West , so if I need another I’ll use their website again.

  43. Cole W.

I purchased a custom Titan Bravo with a worn purple handle. This thing is nothing short of an absolute beast. I had my reservations about buying one but impulsively pulled the trigger one day and had it customized. Received the knife 8 days later and am very pleased. It is a heavier knife and weighs about a pound, and the quality is very noticeable. The movement and design is very simple and I am able to do all of the maintenance on my own. I have no doubt this knife will last me the rest of my life, this is the first and probably last OTF I will ever buy. It isn’t cheap, but the lifetime warranty makes it worth the price for me. Though I don’t think I’ll ever need it. Do your research into OTFs before buying one because they aren’t for everyone. But if you like the style of knife, you probably won’t find a better quality OTF for the same price.

  44. Nich Miller (verified owner)

Simply put, I break gear. I’m one of those that uses their equipment every day in the hardest of ways. I’ve had the Titan Bravo since early June 2023 and it broke, literally, today 20231114. I dropped it nearly parallel to the floor of my house and the blade snapped clean appx 1.5cm from the base (at handle). That said, I have beat the ever-loving hell out of this knife. Its cut seatbelts, clothes, tin cans, etc. in my time carrying it and hasn’t missed a beat, so to speak. I purchased it because a trusted colleague has, likewise, carried and beat the hell out of his own Ravencrest knives, so I’m genuinely surprised at the breakage I experienced. My decades as an amateur metallurgist have given me some insight as to the nature of the break and I can attest that the problem is a very acceptable issue with the steel, as a whole. Nothing that I can see reflects on the quality of manufacture of the blade, itself, but simply an otherwise-imperceivable problem with the heat treat. I’ve contacted the Customer Service department and am set to send it off, tomorrow (20231115). I’ll update my review, as fitting, but I have no doubts in the capabilities and standards of service I’m about to receive.

In summary, I beat the absolute s**t out of these knives, every day, and the only issue I’ve had is a problem that no one could foresee. I’m, in no way, dissatified and will continue to carry a Ravencrest until the sun goes cold.
