OVERVIEW
The Perfect EDC.
The Covert Reaver OTF Knife is a medium size fully automatic double action OTF (out the front) Knife that comes standard with CNC aviation aluminum handles. The all CNC construction of the Covert Reaver makes for a precision fit & finish not only on the exterior of the knife but also on the inside operating components as well. Aviation aluminum is strong, lightweight and elegant in appearance and feel.
Purpose Built.
The ergonomics of the Covert Reaver are in a word… perfection. The center tapered handle on the knife keep the OTF firmly in hand while performing cutting stabbing chores. Jimping is placed along the spine of the handles to give you added grip while your fingers are wrapped around the knife. The Reaver also features extra front end texture for increased finger grip. You can choose from our Tactical Kwaiken or Tanto blade styles.
Details that matter.
The button features sharp details and smooth action while the blade is being deployed. The Covert Reaver pocket clip is deep carry making it more discreet when carrying. Other fine details include a “battle tested” glass breaker that has been reduced in size to keep it more discreet and concealable while carrying.
All RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use.
RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.
What Is “Select Series”?

Just got my Covert Reaver and I am very impressed! Excellent build quality and premium materials, lightweight (I don’t notice it clipped to my pocket), smooth fast action and blade deployment, feels great in the hand with its large handle. Top notch OTF blade and my new EDC! Would add another star if there was a serrated option for the tanto style (maybe a future add or upgrade option?)

Love this knife!! Heavy duty, well made. I purchased 2, one was a gift for a judge. He carries it a lot. These knives are a real tool. It gets used a lot, holds an edge real good too. Haven’t had to sharpen it yet.

I am really impressed with this knife. I picked it up as an EDC because it’s slimmer and lighter than my Titan Bravo and RCT-1. The fit and finish are great. This one blows my other two Ravencrests out of the water (and is on par with my other OTF with an eagle claw logo). This knife is slim, light, easy to carry and very well made. The shorter glass breaker makes it especially comfortable to carry in my front pocket. My only complaint would be to echo that there needs to be a serrated tanto option.

Love my knife. I ordered 2 one for my son and I. Beautiful heavy duty knife. Very pleasing the the eye yet, extremely practical. I was super excited when I saw it on the website but it was even more impressive when we got it. As always though one of the best parts is just dealing with the staff at Ravencrest. They are the greatest and truly make the company. They’re so helpful and always bend over backward to help with anything. Thanks you guys for such awesome knives and such great help. It’s always a pleasure to work with you, and I always will.

Worth the wait! Mine has the kwaiken style blade. The blade is nice and narrow. The build quality is sweet. This is my second knife from these guys and I am impressed. The covert reaver will definitely compete with the Ultratech.

Just received mine the other day from the second pre-order run and I literally couldn’t be happier. It’s insanely lightweight and the tolerances are tighter than my two RCT 1s which I also love but the weight of this knife makes it a go to over my other RCT. If the BYO option was available for this knife (blade style/colors) like it is for several other models then I would definitely own sever more of these.

Just got mine about 2 weeks ago and loved it as soon as I got it. But i noticed the the button was stiff and wasn’t as smooth as my other knife from them. So I sent it back for repairs and was told since the button was stiff they are sending my a whole new one. Their customer service is amazing. This is my 3rd knife from them and it won’t be my last.

This is a great knife, light weight you dont notice it in your pocket even wearing sweats or basketball shorts, very impressed with how low it rides when clipped almost concealed, there is just enough to get a purchase on it and put to use,

Let me first say this is my third Ravencrest knife. The Kwaiken is one bad ass little blade. The fit and finish of the body is top notch. Definitely more of a sticker. It’s lightweight, overall it has a medium size feel, the spring tension is stronger than my others, and it deploys smoothly. My only complaint would be that the body could be a little more tactile. I would prefer a bit more grip. Otherwise it’s a very nice knife.

After waiting and forgetting that I pre-ordered a knife, I received it and I’m very happy with it! It’s only been in my possession for a month but has been upgraded to my EDC due to its lighter weight than my custom full-size RCT-1 Raven that’s almost 2 years old and hasn’t failed the hard life its been given. I’m looking forward to saving up and replacing all my duty and back up knives with Raven Crest Tactical products!

OMG received my Reaver the other day and I must say it was certainly worth the wait!!! The quality and workmanship is beyond reproach so much so I placed another order the day after I took ownership. Thank you for producing a quality OTF that people can afford.

I bought the Reaver tanto. I love this knife!! Very light with a great action, I may just have to get another.

Pretty solid knife so far but not 100% perfect. I ordered one when on back order and had to wait a couple of months for it. When the first one came it, I quickly fell in love with it. The blade holds an edge extremely well and was razor sharp out of the box. Long blade with a very fine tip that I have grown to love for cutting. After having it just a few weeks, the auto failed. The blade was unable to fully lock into position. I do not remember anything extreme or unique happening to it. I just pulled it out of my pocket and it stopped working. I sent it in to the company for their warranty, and they said they were unable to fix it. They sent me a brand new one within a couple of days. I have had the second one for a couple of months without any issues. Still firing strong and still razor sharp. A few minor issues with the design of note. The handles are a little slick. There is a very good coating over the handles that hasn’t scratched or worn yet, but due to the texture they are a little slick in the hand. The clip on both knives I received were very tight in the pocket. I had to carefully bend the clips on both to loosen them up slightly to take in and out of the pocket easier. Overall, I love the Kwaiken style blade shape and cutting ability. I also love the power and strength the blade deploys in and out. The blade has very little to no wiggle when out and is a very lightweight slim knife in your pocket. Very good design and worth the money. Not 100% perfect but probably my favorite auto knife that I own. HOPEFULLY it will continue to last for years to come.

Bought mine on the 10th, paid in full and no mention of any issues. 5 days later, the order was still processing evwn though the site says shipped within 24-48 hrs. Contacted RCT and was tild the knife is on backorder but will ship today. No notice about backorder on the site, no notice of backorder in cart or when making payment, no notice of backorder on confirmation email. No big deal though since it shipped the next day. Got it today and WAS happy with it,… Until I open/closed it a dozen or so times and the screws holding the clip were coming out, not cool but easy to snug up with my precision torx bit set. Half a dozen more open/closes and the body screws were are now backing out. This would be expected from a cheap knife but not one that costs $199. Ill fix the screws with locktite (since there isnt any on these) but probably my only RCT knife purchase…. Might be a nice knife once I fix it.

Excellent craftsmanship though screws are a bit loose. One actually fell out but the knife itself holds up very well.

Great knife, very stout, blade is razor sharp and holds an edge well!

I purchased this knife for protection. I like the trigger location and, the weight and size. I clip it inside my pocket and it is easily removed and be used if needed. I hope I never need it. But knowing it’s there if I ever did gives me piece of mind.

First of all RCT shipped mine out the next day, they are on top of there business. I was impressed when I took it out of the box, you can feel the quality and I’m so happy with this one that I just ordered me a custom Reaver. There is no blade play, has a good solid action with a tight lock up, it came sharp enough to shave with it, it feels really good in your hand, the Reaver gets a 10/10 from me, there’s not anything negative about the knife. You can spend $400 or $500 on a benchmade or Microtech and you ain’t going to get a knife as good as this and I know for a fact because I own both brands.

I got my custom Reaver in the mail the other day and it turned out pretty good, they did a really good job on the battle worn color. There’s no blade play and that’s very impressive because the high dollar brands all have blade play. It came sharp enough to shave with it, the handle has a good feel to it, it has good action with a tight lock up. I’m so happy with it that I’m thinking about getting another one. Great job RCT!

Never Need Another EDC This knife is amazing right out of the box for it came razor sharp and we immediately did my firing test and after 50+ opening and closing rapid fire I had no problems whatsoever. No failures for this sleek and light weight knife! This is the perfect EDC as it is light, reliable, and I chose the kwaiken style blade so amazing at tip for any fine cutting.

I love my Covert Reaper with Bowie Blade. Is great looking knife and the blade is very sharp. Have had no issues and is of great quality and craftsmanship. I love it!
Jim –
This is an incredible EDC. I bought a matching pair with a custom script for my son and I. We both love these rugged blades!
Eddy Berger –
This knife is everything I hoped it would be. This knife works flawlessly and feels great. This is also one of the best companies i have ever ordered from. I had a few problems with a blade and they went above and beyond my expectations to make sure I was taken care of. I definitely recommend this knife and this brand will be my go to for life.
