This blade and the Kukri Phantom are my EDC. Love both of these blades. Kukri for chopping/ slicing and the Drop point for poking LOL. Thank you Ravens Crest for these superior products.

I got this in as the Feb 2018 RavenPac knife and I won’t lie, I was underwhelmed at first. Out of the box it just seemed a little plain for what RavenCrest normally send out. That being said, the more I hold/ use this knife, the more I love it.
The first thing I noticed is the weight of this sucker. It feels good. It’s not super heavy, but it feels beefy, and by no means cheap feeling. The blade is nice and triple point serrated so this knife is great for EDC. Although this isn’t an assisted open knife, it came well oiled and the flipper on the back makes it just as easy to pop open. I have to say that the jimping along the spine really brings the knife together as it offers a better contact area for your palm and thumb.
So while I was a little disappointed at first, or rather underwhelmed, this is a great EDC and I have taken it with me everywhere since I received it. Keep ‘em coming gents!

This the first knife I have received from Ravencrest and to say that I am a happy customer, is an understatement. The construction, weight, and sharpness of the knife is well beyond my expectations. I was very impressed at how well the knife was oiled and even though it is not assisted, how easily the blade can be brought into action. Extremely impressed with the knife and can’t wait to see what comes next. Keep up the great work Ravencrest, I am off to order my custom OTF Now!

Seems like a good knife. Don’t get me wrong, not a bad knife and looks cool. But kind of expected something a bit better. Expected something a bit more “non-store like”, I feel like i could have gotten something similar for the price I paid going to Academy. Would be cool to get something that i Don’t feel like I could get as easily in stores. Going to give it another go for this month.

I’ll admit, it’s a simple drop point, no spring assist, fairly run of the mill. However, the weekend after I got mine in a sub box, I went camping and forgot to bring something break down wood. My only option was to bash the back of my new knife with a 4 lb sledge hammer. Before I started I had pretty much come to terms with the fact that I was about to make mince meet of my brand new knife, but I could not have been more wrong. Not only did it not break, but the action is still as smooth as it was out of the box, and, while it definitely needed a sharpening after, it still had enough of an edge to work a piece of wood around the fire that nite

The knife is well built. The price is great. The weight is heavy, but not too heavy for an EDC knife. The handle feels very good in the hand and the jimping on the top of the blade makes for good positive control of the knife. The knife operates well and can be deployed very easily with one finger. The sharpness was good, right out of the box and the pocket clip is very sturdy. The drop point blade is a very good length at just over 3.5 inches. The only thing that I am a little nervous about is the width of the blade at the tip. The width of the blade is 1/32 of an inch on the spine of the blade, but the point and tip of the blade are very thin. This blade clearly has a purpose, and is a good EDC knife; but I would put it to really hard usage or try to use the tip to pry anything open. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and am looking forward to this next month’s knife.

I ordered the rct-1 and phantom deal, and was so impressed I joined the knife club. Both knives are definitely tough enough to take on any job I need, however I wish they were sharper out of the box. That being said, they are as functional as they are aesthetically pleasing!

light, sharp and well balanced. The stub for opening the knife becomes a finger guard when the blade is locked, great use as a pocket carried knife.

Nothing fancy, just a good solid pocket knife. I like the half serration and the OD green color. High quality blade with a nice handle.
