This knife is beautiful. It’s a heavy and sturdy. And once I got to sharpening the knife cuts just about everything like butter. Fits perfect in the hand. It’s made for a gentleman.

This is a very well made knife however with the arthritis in my fingers I have a hard time opening blade. I give it 5 stars for quality though.

Good knife… sturdy.. a little too heavy for an edc in my opinion.. very sharp

Was my favorite knife for 2 weeks, then the ambidextrous thumb stud came out. they will replace it for free soI am sending it back for a trade. Great return policies.

I found this knife to be extremely difficult to open. Even my son who is also a RavenPac member has stated his knife was also difficult to open. I found that I wasted yet another monthly subscription fee as I ended up throwing away another ravenpac monthly knife. What happened to the high quality that Ravencrest Tactical was known? I mean if their OTF knives handled as poorly as several of their monthly knives… then I don’t think they would be able to give one away little alone sell it. This is so disappointing as I had talked several friends into joining the knife of the month club. And all I have heard was a bunch of flack back from them. I know that Ravencrest Tactical is able to produce high quality knives – at least with their OTF knives. So why are they not able to do the same with the Ravenpac knife of the month club. I guess it really is true that you GET what you PAY for… $16.99 And I have only kept one knife so far…

This knife is very heavy for just being an assisted opening knife and nothing more. However this thing is a tank. It makes a sound like none of my other knives when it opens. Very sharp, sturdy, precise, no wobble, etc. It does not have a finger stud to open it so you have to use the thumb stud which can make it hard to open. (Not nearly as hard as some people are making it sound). I’m not sure where the complaints about quality are coming from as this is the highest quality knife from RavenCrest i own besides their RTC-1. I would rate it equal or better than most of my Zero Tolerance blades. I don’t EDC this only because of the weight but it would be my second choice after my Phantom.

Very well made knife, solid, sturdy, tight lockup and heavy duty blade. However, I agree with some that there definitely is a knack to the thumb stud opening, but once you get it down it isn’t an issue. I won’t trade it for my Titan for EDC, but in states where an OTF isn’t legal, this would be a good substitute.

Another high quality product. A strong, heavy knife that I expect will last a long time. I bought it on sale at a discounted price, making it an even better value. The only negative is that it is not as easy to open as some other knives I’ve carried that use a thumb hole rather than a thumb stud.

Love my new Gentleman’s FA knife! Did a happy dance when it arrived. And, the price was so good I got two! For EDC am practicing to open the blade partially in my pocket so that I can open quick one-handed when I take it out. A little tricky to do with one hand, like in the video. Do you think oil will help it open more easily? Yet, I do love it. Feel safe with it in my pocket. Bob T.

I bought this knife when it was on sale. WHAT A VALUE! The knife is sharp, it opens very smoothly. I wanted to test out the Ravencrest brand before I invested in their OTF knives and other products. I am very impressed and will be ordering more from this company in the future. I like to keep my money in the local community when I can. I definitely recommend Ravencrest Tactical to my friends and other enthusiasts. Check their sale tab often as they put up some really great deals!

The knife has a nice weight to it, this is one of two of their knives I have and love both of them. I WILL buy another in the future.

Just received my Gentlemen’s folding knife. It’s well built, but beware, if you need to deploy it quickly from your front left pocket. The knife is setup only for a right handed perspective. So, you will need to pull the knife from your pocket and spin the knife in your hand in order to deploy it one handed. I really like the knife, but I won’t be able to add it to my EDC for self defense. I absolutely will carry it for hunting and misc activities. Very nice knife other than being setup only for a right handed quick deployment

It’s a very good looking knife, especially the blade which came nicely sharpened. It is very heavy for its size and it is somewhat painful to open with the thumb studs. Being so hard to open is the main reason I wouldn’t recommend this one.
