OVERVIEW

Powerful, fearless and ready for anything.
Like all RavenCrest Tactical knives, the Spartan is built for hard use. Each Spartan comes standard with a 3.9-inch 440c blade that is meticulously hand sharpened to a razor’s edge ready to cut right out of the box. The sleek ergonomic handles on the Spartan are made of high-quality Zinc Alloy that is individually hand coated with Cerakote which gives them maximum hardness and corrosion resistance. The button placement along the “face” of the handle allows for a natural thumb placement and leverage while deploying the blade. The Spartan also allows features a bold inlay on each side of the handle that adds to the aesthetics and appeal of the knife. If that wasn’t enough the Spartan OTF knife also comes equipped with a “battle tested” glass breaker pommel and pocket clip.

Details that matter.
The inner workings of the Spartan don’t disappoint. “Under the hood” you will find all stainless steel precision parts and our proprietary coated high-performance spring. The Spartan comes with our famous lifetime warranty giving you confidence and peace of mind.

All RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives are extremely safe to operate and use.
RavenCrest Tactical OTF knives come with a built-in safety that will not allow the blade to fully deploy if anything is obstructing its path. Once in “safety mode” the blade will need to be reset by pulling the blade all the way into its locking position making it fully functional again.

What is Cerakote?
Cerakote is not a paint. Cerakote is a Polymer-Ceramic coating that can be applied to metals, plastics, polymers and wood. The unique formulation used for Cerakote ceramic coating enhances a number of physical performance properties including abrasion/wear resistance, corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, impact strength, and hardness.

I love this knife, i have the RCT-1, Titan Alpha, RCT-1 Mini and two Spartans now and they are all phenomenal. I really like the trigger on the spartans the best just because of the ease of opening and closing. I have to say my new spartan is my favorite but to be honest every knife I have from Ravencrest has been my EDC at some point and i put knives through a beating…. I dropped my RCT-1 of the top of a 220 foot cell tower onto a boulder and watched it ricochet about 20-30 yards on the side of a mountain, i thought for sure it was toast but when i retrieved it later that day it was totally fine, i still use it all the time to this day and that was 6 years ago, I actually have used it and sharpened it so many times over the years (bought it in 2013) that the blade got worn down to the point i had to get a new blade for it. Being in the Navy and now working in construction I’ve owned and used a lot of various knives but hands down my Ravencrest knives will always be my EDC’s and my most trusted knives as well as my favorites…
