Got this knife in a ravenpac. Its well designed with good weight. Only reason im not giving it 5 stars is that it had a metal shaving under the bolster which made the bolster sit uneven. Not really a complaint just a observation. None the less very happy with this knife.

I received this knife as part of Ravenpac. Overall I like this knife. It is a heavy knife, which does not concern me. The blade is sharp and 440C which I believe most all Ravencrest are. The opening and closing of this knife is extremely smooth. My complaint with this knife is there are small gaps between the composit part and the metal parts of the handle. There are also small gaps between the metal liner of the knife and the exterior metal of the knife. Overall I give this knife three stars. It is a good knife to keep in the truck or back pack. Thank you Ravercrest for another nice knife.

Again if you are not a Ravenpac subscriber, you are missing out. Another great knife added to my collection. This is a big knife. I love the stonewash finish on this blade. This is my first of this style from Ravencrest and at first glance I was not super excited as I like the more tactical style knives but after holding and cutting with this knife it is super nice. The fit and finish of my knife specifically is great. The blade is super smooth and sharp. This will be an easy knife to maintain. As far as design I like the removable clip as this knife is pretty heavy and I probably wont “carry” it in my EDC, but I love how they recessed the clip into the handle so it may just stay. These guys put effort into these knives and you can see it. Great work. Only reason it gets four stars from me is the weight, but that may have even been purposeful in the design.

This is my first knife from RavenCrest, and my first knife as part of the RavenPac club. I must say that I am more than impressed with this knife.
    Use/Weight:
I have been carrying a knife on me since I was 13 years old, I am now 36. I’ve carried knives of varying weights, sizes and designs over the years and prefer the heavier knives. The Ambassador is not a light weight when inside the pocket, yet feeling that heft in my pocket makes me feel assured that if i need a reliable tool/blade that I do not need to look any further than what is in my pocket. For many this may be too heavy to be an EDC knife, but upon receiving this knife it instantly replaced my CRKT BUKU. This knife will handle all your usually every day tasks, but also has the girth to take on tougher tasks.
    Fit and Finish:
My Ambassador came put together like a masterpiece. All the screws were locked in tightly (something i can’t say has happened with every Benchmade knife I have purchased), all pieces from the G10 scales to the liner lock, to the pocket clip fit together superbly. When the blade is engaged the liner lock snaps in place with authority and I have no worry about the blade not staying in place. The blade has absolutely no wiggle left to right or up and down. The finish on the blade itself is absolutely beautiful. The stone wash finish makes this knife look so elegant, yet when held you know this knife means business.
    Sharpness and Steel:
The Ambassador came straight from the box razor sharp. Don’t believe me? I’ll send a picture of my left arm which the hair has been shaven off and is baby-bottom smooth. My girlfriend still rolls her eyes when she looks at my arm lol! The 440C steel retains an incredible edge and when coupled with the drop point blade, any piercing or slicing tasks become child’s play.
    Ergonomics and Handling:
The ergonomics of this knife are just comfortable. I have medium sized hands and this blade fits my hand like a glove. I also had a friend who has larger sized hands try this knife out and he wanted to purchase it from me straight out at full retail. When held the pocket clip, although long, does not bite into my hand, making it easy to hold this knife for longer periods of time and even when gripping it tighter there is no discomfort when completing cutting tasks. The flipper action on this knife is buttery smooth, yet the blade stays in place in my pocket and does not creep out. I have tried to shake the knife in an attempt to coax the blade to accidentally coming out of it’s resting place but failed each time. Rest assured this blade will stay in place until called upon.
    Conclusion:
The Ambassador is an amazing knife! I like the weight, the style, the design, I cannot find a single thing I do not like about his knife. Putting an edge back on this knife is really easy and all my knife buddies have expressed interest in purchasing one. This knife is a gentleman’s knife combined with the power and build of a tank. Great job RavenCrest, I look forward to the next knife next month!

Another excellent knife from the Ravenpac subscription!
This one is an excellent choice for my likes, the blade length, the heft and beefy build are exactly what I love in a folding knife. The fit and finish on my knife is superb, the tip up carry, lanyard hole and stone wash are some of my “A+ List” features. And the blade is razor sharp, actually one of the sharpest blades I have ever gotten out of the box at any price. But I have come to expect that From Ravencrest Tactical after 7 Ravenpac deliveries and a couple a la carte buys from the menu.
The only thing I have not received yet is a balisong(butterfly) knife, but I can understand that as they are an undeniable danger to the user unless the art form has been somewhat mastered.
This company is the real thing, if you are a knife lover you need to bookmark their site.

Like most others I received this as part of the Ravenpac Monthly Knives Club. I’ll keep this short though.

First, this thing is heavy – specs say 1 pound. This is a bigger knife them I prefer to carry.

Second, my blade was quite dull, but it’s better now.

Third, this opens smoother and faster then a shaved cat on a oiled Slip’N Slide.

Bottom line, would I pay $Like most others I received this as part of the Ravenpac Monthly Knives Club. I’ll keep this short though.

I collect knives and I researched several clubs before choosing RavenCrest. I definitely made the right choice. This knife is solid, comfortable, sharp, and very well made. The unique finish is spectacular. Its a quality, well-designed knife at a great price. BTW, I contacted customer service. They were fantastic. It was the best service I have ever received…hands down. I can’t wait for the next club knife and have begun looking at specs for a custom OTF. I have no doubt I will be impressed by the final product.

Smooth, sleek, and sharp, I like the grinding, the feel, use it as EDC when my furry or my kukry are to bulky …
