I love the quality and feel of this knife. I also love the fact that it is ambi-dextrous, so I can wear it in my left pants pocket while carrying my Cold Steel AK-47 in my right pants pocket. Now I can carry two easy to deploy knives. One is none and two is one!

This knife feels extremely high quality, it’s got a nice heft for being small(i have medium-large hands and my pinky doesn’t sit all the way on the handle), and the blade has only a little play when it is locked open. I think it looks great with the blade in or out, it might even be a bit flashy for some. My one complaint is that the action is on the heavy side, especially since it’s got a long travel to open/close the knife, but that might be for safety. My preference would be either slightly shorter travel, or slightly lighter springs. It feels great when the knife moves in and out, it’s extremely smooth and makes a loud metal-hitting-metal sound, sort of like a miniature of a gun. It’s definitely loud enough to be heard by people around you. I’ve probably opened and closed it thousands of times, and it still feels perfect. The glass breaker is a nice touch too, and the deep carry pocket clip is pretty much as deep carry as it could be.

The blade comes very sharp, and I use a honing steel on it after every use. It’s been fine cutting through packing materials, but I can feel the blade edge starting to roll a bit after cutting up a bunch of cardboard type materials.

I worry about the action of the knife getting gunked up with pocket lint, dust, metal shavings, bits of paper, etc, and then being hard to clean. This thing has 6 tiny hex screws to open, so it’s not like you can do that away from a work bench. But so far I haven’t had any issues, so it might be nothing.

Speaking of cleaning, I use a tiny amount of light oil-based lubricant on the inside and blade, so far I don’t see any rust or corrosion. Even the pocket clip looks brand new, unlike my Benchmade which started showing wear and tear within a month of EDC. Overall it’s a great knife, but I would change a few things if I could.

Just got my knife back from being sharpened and I’m more than satisfied. I use my knife multiple times a day and it holds up to it all. Thank you ravencrest for a job well done and a quick turn around on my knife. Definitely recommended.

I have recently purchased the rct-1 and the mini rct-1 separately here is my honest opinion; both knives are well made the rct-1 is in my opinion bulky as are most otf knives it’s not what I would call a comfortable carry knife but that’s a matter of opinion the mini for me is almost perfect for everyday carry I wear a medium glove after break in and it fits my hand well it’s light weight but you can tell its a tool and not a toy. The rct-1 is heavy you can tell it will take abuse like a champ. I have shown these knives to my coworkers and they are quite impressed with the action and the recoil of the blade extending and retracting the price is very reasonable for a knife of this quality the only question you should consider is the size if you are comfortable with a half pound knife on your side or in your pocket go with the rtc-1 but I prefer the mini to carry everyday. All in all I’m not disappointed in either knife and very satisfied with my purchases. I’ll give four stars and two thumbs up. I think that’s a fair honest review. Thanks ravencrest job well done.

Recently bought this knife at a local gun show from sales rep Joe. Joe is first class and couldn’t be more happier with the knife. I have many expensive knives, and this by far is worth every penny! Great job Ravencrest Tactical!

Got the mini Raven in a fathers day package and ordered her with the satin tanto ns.
Fit and finish are excellent though blade play is just a tad more than what I would like but still
    110% usable!
Solid and very strong and the action is great.
I now wish I would have ordered her with the drop point blade(much easier to sharpen) vs the tanto.
Blade sharpness is my only complaint as this one not very sharp at all but after a few passes on my sharpener(like the others)
you can shave with it now!
This one will be my EDC as its smaller and lighter and most importantly, strong and usable!

By far this is my favorite knife. Feels very good in the hand and has a nice weight. The handle has a real nice feel as well. I’m definitely a new fan of this company. This is the knife I’ve been waiting for.
